Two world-class, inspiring teachers.

  • Winston’s journey into movement began at 17, driven by curiosity about the body’s possibilities in space. He was captivated by the interplay of imagination and physicality—the ability to envision movement, define orientation, and bring it to life.

Acrobatics became his medium of exploration, leading him to formal studies at Circomedia (2010–2012) and ACAPA: Fontys Academy of Circus and Performance Arts (2012–2016), where he specialized in physical theatre, acrobatic dance, and hybrid partnering blending contemporary dance with acrobatics.

His career launched with Alexander Vantournhout’s Red Haired Men (2017–2018), opening doors to collaborations with Notstanding, Louis Vuitton, Jasmine Ellis, Miet Warlop, and Yoann Bourgeois (2022–2024). Currently, he‘s engaged with Fernando Melo and Kalle Nio on projects for 2025–2026. Working with Yoann Bourgeois extended beyond performance into choreographic research, notably at Gothenburg Opera (We Loved Each Other So Much, Requiem Mozart).

These experiences deepened His understanding of movement creation. Parallel to performing, he developed a teaching methodology rooted in multidisciplinary exploration. Teaching became a space to test ideas and refine movement principles across disciplines. This led me to ferus animi // terra nova, a research collective integrating neuroscience, biomechanics, and philosophy into movement practice. Straddling performance, teaching, and research, he inhabits a constantly evolving terrain—one that transforms movement into an ever-deepening dialogue of expression, exploration, and discovery.
