how to prep for class
-
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move and sweat in. A long-sleeved layer and pants can be helpful to bring for moving in and out of the floor.
Footwear: You can work out barefoot, in socks, or a clean indoor shoe in the studio.
To Bring: Bring water, a towel for sweat if you like, curiosity and an open mind. No special equipment needed. We have weights and equipment here at the gym.
-
We’re located at 4745 Walnut Street, Suite 200 Boulder, CO 80301.
After you pass under Foothills Parkway, just past the yellow building, we are in a grey building on the left with an Ape Co sign on the front door.
-
Parking is available:
Anywhere next to our building (not in front of a different building)
On the street - all street parking is open
At the end of our building’s parking lot in the unmarked spots
-
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early for class so you can check in, meet your teacher, get a sense of the space, and warm up for class.
-
Check in with the teacher at the front desk, or use the iPad kiosk / your Ape Co app to check in for your class.
Let your teacher know it’s your first class and where you're at in your movement journey.
That context helps them give you better tips and cues and right from the start.
-
We have two bathrooms, showers, a water fountain, and equipment here at the gym.

5 minutes of this wrist warmup drill before class makes a real difference, especially if you're coming from a desk job or a lot of typing.
